The stone quarry in Smerdyna is several kilometres long. For centuries, the Smerdyna sandstone was the basic construction material in the Staszów region. Stone mining has created a spectacular landscape. Since 2018, the quarry is the venue of the motocross competition - Southern Poland Cup - Cross Country. The area is under the management of “Kamionka” Smerdyna Land Foundation.
