The Calvary in Jasień includes three tall, wooden crosses standing on a hill overlooking the area. The place was the location of the final episode of the Polish historical adventure TV series “Czarne chmury” (Black Clouds).
Every year, on the third Sunday of May, the Way of the Cross is held there to commemorate the people who died in the area during World War II.
The wooden crosses were erected on 26 October 1994. The highest one is 14 metres high, the other two are around 9 metres high. On the ground around the crosses, you will find limestones and sandstones brought from the nearby fields on which you can sit and rest.
