This small church and its surroundings are one of the most charming places in Kurozwęki. It was built in the 18th century as a token of gratitude of the people of Kurozwęki for surviving the epidemic which ravaged Staszów and the region in 1705.
Located on a tall, rocky slope, the church was renovated from 1914 to 1919, but later sustained damage during World War II. The building is rectangular, with a semi-circular wall on the southern side, and a porch on the northern one.
Surrounded by an old wall with an entrance gate with a hipped roof, the church and its surroundings form an interesting complex of Old Polish sacral architecture.
On the roof ridge, you can see an ornamental bell turret. The building was never a permanent place of worship, with the exception of the epidemics of 1821 and 1893.
